Ever since I watched “Donald Duck in Mathmagical Land” as a kid I’ve been fascinated by proportional systems and so called sacred geometry. It’s remained a theme I’ve played with in design and architecture, photography, art and general observations in my sketchbooks.

Currently, I’m working on a series of watercolor abstractions playing with the themes of geometry and proportion—specifically a theory called “Dynamic Symmetry” which I’m using to create an armature framework that I improvise over with watercolors. I’m also filming the creation process of these paintings and posting them on my Miggins Art YouTube Channel.
